For the Slate edition, we stepped up the leather.

This version of the Statesman is built from 5.5 oz Slate Grey Killarney Leather, an oil- and wax-infused American steer hide with a pronounced pull-up and a firmer, more substantial feel than our standard 4.5 oz leather. As the boot flexes and wears, lighter undertones emerge, creating natural variation and depth unique to every pair.

Durable, straightforward, and built to take on daily miles, the leather develops character fast without sacrificing structure. It’s a thicker, tougher expression of the Statesman. Made for hard wear and long life.
